Back to remembering purpose,
I kind of got a talking too from my sister, a well-deserved one. For weeks I have been slacking on the share page and even the blog, to be fair.
But back to the share page, I would know the deals but see that someone had mentioned it already ( then not put it out on the ‘share’ page), wonder about how to talk about a deal, um and ah, and share it with the family. At the time, the above seemed like valid excuses, but they were not.
Truthfully I had forgotten the purpose of starting the share page; first God said to start (the page), and really that is all that matters. I had initially written another reason, but I recognise now that when God is not the anchor, things can go awry.
There is another element that I have struggled with, which is not wanting to be seen. I always liked the content of the people that didn’t show their faces. If I haven’t written about it already, I (capital I) wanted the blog to be completely anonymous. I wondered how people could talk in front of a crowd so fluently, answer questions, be so human, so real, not fearing condemnation and confident. My face not being out there was like my last frontier. (I want to go deeper into this topic). But I thought (another capital I) that I wouldn’t be able to live a life partly unknown. It’s hard to explain, but I thought that you have ‘a responsibility’ when your face is known; you can’t act without thinking; your actions and words outside of what you do daily are seen. (You’re a walking ambassador of what you believe.) Writing this, I realise that this was also another form of running from responsibility and fear. That’s if the paragraph even makes any sense.
As I was writing this today (24/03/25) two verses came to mind; one was about where I am weak, God is strong, and the verse called me a city set on a hill that can not be hidden.
But this verse really spoke to me; it is found in Philippians 4 verse 13. It is so powerful and true.
“I can do all things [which He has called me to do] through Him who strengthens and empowers me [to fulfill His purpose—I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency; I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him who infuses me with inner strength and confident peace.]”

Please search; where I am weak you are strong. There are so many verses that are great reminders and a solid message for your everyday.
“You are the light of [Christ to] the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden;”

I really pray that when I feel like I have lost my way, or I don’t know how to do things, or I forget the purpose. I go straight to God and lean on him.
Today I am reminded to lean on God and not my understanding, to share no matter how many people have shared, and to continually seek God and follow his guidance for my life.
So I am back, to start in earnest with God.
